BLAST JOINT

The Blast Joint is a thick-walled, externally hardened, tubular component supplied at coupling stock OD, and is integral to the longevity of the well. They are placed in the tubing string adjacent to perforations, as the thick walls of this tube offer increased durability and wear-resistance to the erosive blasts of fluid from the formation, which often carry abrasive solid particles.
